WHAT IS THE LEVIATHAN?

The leviathan is a student-led publication that features visual art, fiction, and poetry created by Colorado College students. Leviathan has open submissions that welcome ALL artwork (photography, fiber, sculpture, pottery, etc.), poetry, and prose.
We accept submissions in languages other than English but encourage them to be accompanied by a translation, as translations can vary.

the leviathan publishes a magazine four times a year, once every two blocks.

Submission deadline for our next issue: March 20th, 2024

To submit work, please email your art, prose, or poetry to leviathan.magazine@gmail.com and specify the title and medium.

EVENTS

The Leviathan hosts writing workshops throughout the year to provide student writers space to work on pieces while receiving feedback
through participation in workshop activities. This is a great opportunity for students to improve their writing pieces and skills.
We also organize a campus-wide event, Leviathan Live. This annual gathering is held during second semester and is a way to bring
the CC community together and celebrate the artists and writers who have been published in our magazine. This event allows the magazine
to come to life through artwork displays and live readings of literary pieces.
